Building in Africa: What It Actually Takes and Why It Is Worth It
I build in Africa, from Port Harcourt, and I want to tell the truth about what that takes, because the honest version is more useful than either the romantic one or the despairing one. Building here is genuinely harder than building in places with more infrastructure, more capital, and more supportive conditions. It is also uniquely worth it, and it produces a kind of builder and a kind of character that easier places do not.
